What is it
Box of 12 coloured triangular beeswax crayons. Perfect for small children as they are easier for them to hold and draw with. Older children can use them to take rubbings from any object imaginable. You can even paint with them; simply dip a paint brush in water, dab it in to the circular hollow on the crayon and paint away!

What our experts think
The children enjoyed drawing with the crayons and liked the unusual shape. Crayons are great for encouraging children to be creative – they can draw whatever they can imagine, experiment with different colours and drawing techniques for shading, or different lines and squiggles. Children can also make wax rubbings that they can then add to, and create a larger picture. Younger children can practice mark making too, which is one of the early skills needed when learning to write.
The Triangular Beeswax Crayons by Primo are nice quality, and offer a range of colours for younger children to become familiar with. They are particularly good because the shape makes the crayons easier for small hands to hold, while promoting a tripod grip and developing fine motor control.
It would be even better if...
