What is it
The TP Genius Octagonal2 trampoline has superior bounce, performance and outstanding safety features – in fact, it’s been tested to exceed one million bounces to guarantee years of play. The Genius Octagonal2 is designed and built to last.
The octagonal frame gives you a more predictable mat – circular ones tend to direct you to the centre – but with an octagonal shape you can bounce on the same spot on the map.
It also features the IGLOO door entry system, which is a fun, crawl-through tunnel with no zips that can fail. It gives jumpers a bounce-back system, so they’ll always stay safely on the trampoline. TP Toys’ SurroundSafe enclosure design ensures the springs are completely enclosed and inaccessible from inside the trampoline. This means the jumper can’t come into contact with the springs, reducing the risk of injury. For added safety, the top of the trampoline has padding too.
Setting up is straightforward: it’ll take 2 adults about 2 hours to build the Genius. Ensure you have 2m free space around the trampoline for a clear and safe bouncing zone. You can adjust its 8 ‘intelligent’ feet individually, in case any part of the ground is a bit uneven.
Available in 8ft, 10ft, 12ft and 14ft
What our team of testers said

What our experts think
We really enjoyed seeing how excited children got when using the trampoline. As well as developing their muscles, core strength, balance and cardio fitness, it also promotes confidence and children’s ability to assess their own abilities and take measured risks. We also particularly enjoyed seeing how the children were aware of the safe use of the trampoline and developed their own system for taking turns and ensuring that all children got to use the trampoline fairly.
