What is it

What our experts think
These blocks were colourful and engaging to our little testers, who liked the pictures and that some made a noise. The younger children liked throwing the blocks and trying to stack them (and push them over). Stacking and building blocks is good for developing children’s fine motor skills, as it requires dexterity and a steady hand which strengthens these muscles, ideal for progressing to more complex building games and puzzles.
We liked how older children could be challenged in a different way making this a toy that grows with the child. As children try to match the animals and build the road or beanstalk, they develop skills in logic, problem solving and concentration. It was interesting how the children naturally counted the blocks as the built the tower (good for practising their early numeracy skills) and named the animals, which promotes knowledge and real world understanding.
