What our experts think
The T3 SmarTrike scooter proved very popular with our testers; they were eager to jump on and start scooting. The product is well made and has good safety features such as the rubber footboard and grippy handles. The way in which you can change the scooter to suit the individual child’s ability is a great feature as it means that a child can learn the basics safely (and slowly.)
The scooter is good for building confidence and encouraging children to persevere. Some of our testers initially found it hard to steer (by leaning) but once shown they were able to control the scooter well. The children were pleased with their achievements and eager to share them with their peers and carers.
Fostering healthy lifestyles is important and this product does it in a fun way. Our children were enthusiastic and wanted to get outside and start scooting; through doing this they were developing their co-ordination and improving their fitness without even knowing it.
