What our experts think
Our little testers were truly captivated by all of the animals in the Large African Safari! They loved playing with all of the different animals and vehicles while making sounds to go with them, and this is great for supporting language learning and showing their understanding of the world. It also promotes imaginative play which is good for creativity.
Holding and playing with the small figures helps strengthen the hand and finger muscles (known as fine motor control) which are important to develop the tripod grasp for things like writing. Wheeled toys like the safari bus also get children moving around, strengthening their arm and leg muscles (known as gross motor control).
