What is it
Paint-Sation offers a no spill, washable, portable paint solution for children. The ‘On-the-Go’ travel case includes 2 paint brushes, 10 sheets of paper and three different coloured paint pods (blue, yellow and red) to help budding artists get creative.
Using gravity-defying technology, even when it’s upside down, these paint pods will not drip or spill! Each pod creates over 100 paintings and can be stacked together or placed securely into the On-the-Go travel case – there’s even an extra space for one more paint pod. Paint-Sation – turning the world of paint upside down! Please note the lid does not stay up unaided.

What our experts think
Children loved this neat and compact art set. Once the lid was closed the set stayed as it was until you were able to clean it – perfect for travelling. Painting is a great way for children to experiment creatively, and they enjoyed mixing up the colours to see what new colours they could make, reinforcing colour recognition. Using a paintbrush is also an excellent way for young children to practise their tripod grasp, which is needed for holding a pencil correctly to write.
We liked the idea of not having to clean up after an art session – and although it wasn’t completely mess free, there was definitely less mess than with normal paints. The paint also washed off of the children’s hands easily. Parents should be aware that the set doesn’t come with a water pot for cleaning the brushes.
