What is it
Numbalee contains thirteen different number games designed to be fun first but with the added benefit of improving children’s numeracy skills through play. You could challenge family and friends in a race to zero in Numbalee Darts or battle your opponents to the finish in the exciting dice-based game Numbalee Lines Plus.
Numbalee is supplied in a sturdy zip-up pouch that makes it easy for travel and storage and with no need for a board Numbalee is the perfect game to take away on holiday and to play anywhere.
Players can use Numbalee on their own to play the games or they can play in teams: this enables children to practice both in their own time or with friends and family.
With thirteen games to play there really is a game for everyone!

What our experts think
Numbalee is a great game to help children practise their maths skills in a fun way: it covers the basic concepts of multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. It also covers other mathematical concepts taught in Key Stage Two (such as prime numbers and sequences).
Our testers particularly enjoyed the memory game and it really brought out their competitive side, great for developing their memory and sequencing skills. We found that the children really had to concentrate but they still had a lot of fun (this was evident from the laughter that came from the players!) Our testers really liked the different dice and various game pieces – it was good to have a variety of games, as it really held their interest and made numeracy learning fun. Our testers and their families commented on how the game’s handy zip bag was ideal for taking it out and about. Overall, the instructions were clear, although a couple of the games were a little difficult to understand and play.
