What is it

The magic takes the shape of a simple cube to provide a completely new construction system. The magnetic cubes can be stuck together by any side, without any polarisation issues. They can even remain suspended in mid-air! Amazing structures can be built and are easy to create even for the youngest of children.

Magicube Free Building frees creativity. Available in sets from 8 up to 64 coloured cubes, the new range considers children as the true play experts of the toy that develops and takes shape thanks to their imagination. Through the individual magnetic cubes, Magicube Free Building allows them to develop the first manual skills, even the youngest children. The new product, thanks to its magnetism, “revolutionises” the construction category by enabling solid 3D building, through simple and creative play activities.

What our experts think

A construction system that uses magnets to delight children – as if by magic the pieces combine allowing children to create their own constructions.   The cubes are colourful and say for little hands to manipulate – it is a good product for building and refining fine motor control.

Our younger testers simply enjoyed the act of putting the cubes together, whereas the older ones were more determined to create a particular object. It was interesting watching how the children decided what to build and then set about creating – there was lots of learning going on as they succeeded, failed and adapted their plans.

The magi cubes fostered a real sense of pride in the children who were  easier to share their masterpieces with their parents.
