What is it
The magic takes the shape of a simple cube to provide a completely new construction system. The magnetic cubes can be stuck together by any side, without any polarisation issues; they can even remain suspended in mid-air!
Amazing structures can be built and are easy to create even for the youngest of children.
Figures and animals are represented vertically on 3 faces of each magnetic cube of the Magicube Character Mix & Match range. After reproducing the suggested figures, the fun continues as you put together fantastical figures, mixing characters and animals with each other – hilarity guaranteed!

What our experts think
The children loved playing with this product – stacking, sequencing and just having fun! Our testers liked looking at the different animals and trying to match them together; which develops knowledge and understanding of what different animals look like. Matching and sequencing games also teach little ones skills in observation and concentration, as well as important problem solving logic, useful for progressing to pre-school activities and more complex puzzles.
The children also enjoyed building towers with the blocks – construction toys develop dexterity in addition to spatial awareness, important for improving hand-eye coordination needed for slotting and fitting small items together. The magnetic element made stacking easier and intrigued the children, introducing them to the basic concept of magnetism – this enhances the toy as it provides a platform for some science learning, especially with adult involvement.
