What is it
Fun first addition game.
This brightly coloured board game is designed to support children learning to count up to ten.
Children race their frogs to the centre of the board, to be the first to join the frog party and win.
Children can use the lilypad counters to add the two numbers on the double spinner, before the progress to the tried and tested number line method of basic addition.

What our experts think
Children enjoyed playing Frog Party, and this is a brilliant game to help teach basic maths. Children need to add together the numbers that the spinners land on, to find out how far their frog can hop – to help them, there are also counters that children can use as a visual aid. They can also practice counting as they hop across the lilypads.
Games such as Frog Party encourage group play, helping children develop their social skills, practice taking turns, and experience winning and losing in a friendly way.
It would be even better if...
The game can be made more challenging by using different operations – it would be good if the addition sign in between the spinners could be changed.
