What is it
These colourful, themed games can be played both as a single-player pairing activity or a memory game. Young players can start by turning all the cards picture side up and trying to match the head and tail parts. This deceptively simple matching activity can be altered for more advanced play by turning the cards picture side down and playing as a matching and memory game.
Each game featuring twelve friendly characters and objects to match, young children will love the bold and colourful illustrations, and the large, chunky cards are ideal for little hands.
Available in the range is Jungle Heads & Tails and Farmyard Heads & Tails.

What our experts think
The Head and Tails games are great for encouraging children’s observation and matching skills as they make the correct pairs. They were a hit with our testers who loved the bright colours and animals – this generated some discussion around the children’s experiences of farms, which helped to develop their animal knowledge!
We liked that as children develop their skills, they can then move onto the more challenging memory game which is great for improving concentration and categorisation skills. As the game is simple, it also lends itself to encouraging turn taking, especially for little ones.
