What our experts think
This game was a massive hit with all of our testers! They loved the concept and how it could be played with a range of ages, so all of the family are able to get involved. Games like this are good for encouraging turn-taking, which is important as children need to learn patience and consideration for use in many other activities such as classroom learning, playground games and sport. The game also involves a competitive element, which is good for promoting personal, social and emotional development – children can learn about winning and losing in a friendly and supportive way.
Although the game can be played with two players, our testers found that it was much more fun in a larger group! Opening the doors to reveal the pictures generated much excitement to the guessing game, and we liked that there are different levels which provide the opportunity for progression. The option to buy extra cards might be useful, as once players have seen all of the cards provided, the pictures start to become recognisable by memory.
