How to Play

Collect random objects from around the house and put them in a box. Let children pick an item out of the box which they have to identify and describe what it is and what it is used for. E.g. a wooden spoon where they may say ‘ This is a wooden spoon and it is found in the kitchen because you cook with it and stir things.’ The next part of the activity is the child then has to be creative and think of alternative ways the object could be used. E.g. ‘this could be a wand’ or ‘you could use this as a drum stick’.
