How to Play

Let children venture around the house and see what sounds they can make from different objects. A cardboard box could be used as a drum.  Fill empty milk bottles with different amounts of water and blow across the top and hear the different pitches of sounds, or tap with a wooden spoon.  You could get an empty ice cream tub or tissue box and put different width of elastic bands on, and using fingers to pluck the strings and hear the different tones.

Children will become creative and inventive looking for ways to make different sounds.
