What is it
Join the loveable Spot the dog as he searches the farm for the baby animals. This updated eBook version of the childhood classic features beautiful animations and sound effects when objects are touched, so children can lift the flap to reveal baby animals as well as making Spot’s tail wag and more! They can read by themselves, or tap the text to have it read out loud in the character’s voices, making the story really come alive. Children can enjoy learning how to read, and become familiar with farm animals, with this interactive eBook.

What our experts think
eBooks are good because they make the story interactive, which encourages children to read by drawing their attention to the story. The children loved the puzzles in Spot Goes to the Farm, which are a great way for children to practice logic skills because they need to work out which pieces fit together.
It would be even better if...
The words could be highlighted as they are read to guide children’s reading. The puzzles were very popular too, so more of these would be good. The arrows at the bottom of the screen to progress are also not very easy to find, so these could be made clearer.
