What our experts think
1000 Adventures is a fantastic app for encouraging children to think imaginatively, as they interact with the story by tapping on objects to transform them – e.g. two orange slippers on a blue rug turns into two goldfish in a pond – and children really enjoyed doing this. The story is shown as text but spoken aloud too, helping children practice reading. The interaction and fun animations also helps keep their attention and makes reading interesting.
It would be even better if...
It would be good if the navigation menu in the bottom right corner (the vertical dots) was easier to find. The app can also take a while to respond on some devices too, making navigation confusing.
