What is it
StikBots are the social-sharing easy to pose figurines! Their unique design allows for easy positioning on any flat surface thanks to their suction-cup hands and feet. StikBots can be posed in countless ways – their limbs, torso, and even neck can be positioned at multiple different angles! With eight different colours to collect StikBots can also be stuck together and are ridiculously fun and addictive to play with! But StikBots are more than just stylish pose-able characters; they are the first ever social sharing toy!
Download the free app for iPhone and Android so kids can shoot stop frame animation videos quickly and easily. Kids can film, pause and edit their StikBot videos, then share on their favourite social media site!

What our experts think
Children loved making their own videos from scratch, using the Stikbot included as well as introducing other props. Introducing them to stop motion and video editing gives children a new tool to explore their creativity, and video creation encourages storytelling which is good for imagination and language skills. It was lovely seeing our testers work together, with one child controlling the camera and the other moving the characters.
It would be even better if...
We’re aware that most children this age have a tablet rather than a phone, so the stand may not be useful – it may be better if the stand also worked for tablets. The toy also encourages social media use for children who are too young to use it, although we found that this was through the camera roll rather than directly linked from the app.
